The issue
Clinical outcomes improve when hospitals use standardized, evidence-based pathways adapted to the Nigerian context. Priority pathways should include emergency care, maternal and neonatal emergencies, sepsis, stroke, acute coronary syndrome, trauma, malaria and infectious diseases, diabetes, hypertension, perioperative care, critical care, blood transfusion, and antimicrobial stewardship.
