Accreditation, Standards, Quality Assurance and Transformation Committee
A taskforce of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), formed to define national standards for safety, quality and accreditation, and to support the institutions expected to meet them.
Relationship to ANPA
Where ASQAT sits
ASQAT operates under ANPA, drawing on clinicians who practise in both Nigerian and international health systems. That position allows the taskforce to compare standards across systems without importing a model that ignores Nigerian conditions.
Mandate
To develop a National Healthcare Transformation Framework that redefines safety, quality, accountability, workforce sustainability, and public trust in Nigerian healthcare through measurable, enforceable, and globally aligned standards.
