The pathway

Six steps, in order

  1. Understand

    Read the framework and the domains that apply to your institution.

  2. Prioritise

    Identify the areas where current practice is furthest from intent.

  3. Implement

    Apply approved standards, guidance and tools as they are released.

  4. Measure

    Track a small number of indicators defined the same way each time.

  5. Document

    Record what was changed, what was measured and what it produced.

  6. Improve

    Use findings to revise systems, training and institutional priorities.
