The ANPA Safety, Quality & Accreditation Taskforce (ASQAT) is a taskforce of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas. ANPA is the parent organization; ASQAT carries the work.
How the relationship works
Distinct roles
ANPA convenes
ANPA established the taskforce and provides its institutional home, membership network and governance oversight.
ASQAT leads the work
ASQAT develops and publishes the framework, standards, implementation tools and the proposed accreditation model under its own name.
Members contribute
Physicians practising in Nigeria and across the Americas contribute expertise through ASQAT's pillar teams.
Clarity on authority
What affiliation does not mean
- ANPA is not a Nigerian regulator, and neither is ASQAT.
- ANPA affiliation does not make the proposed accreditation model a legal or regulatory requirement.
- Adoption by any government body or institution is a separate decision for that body.
